Do Democrats realize that there are doctors practicing that don't have/can't afford malpractice insurance?
Just wondering because there’s a claim that legal costs are only 1 to 2% of healthcare costs. Let’s assume that number is correct. I don’t know about you but I think that 1 to 2% of 1/7th of the US GPD is A LOT OF MONEY.

What doctors cannot afford malpractice insurance? Currently, the malpractice insurance rate and payouts are at a 30 low. Doctor spend more money and time on getting money from private insurance than paying for malpractice insurance.
