As an LLC working as an independent contractor I have been asked to submit personal identification and my SS# I have submitted my EIN and SS4 which is what a company submits to demonstrate legal compliance. What rights do I have as an individual if they terminate me and what protective rights do I have over my personal information as is stated in the Privacy Act of 1974 and The Freedom of Information Act.

@ Patrice- This is not legal advice and we are not attorneys. It would appear that if you have an LLC, then you are correct in only having to provide the required LLC information. At the same time, if you are already under contract how could they force you to change the terms of the contract?
