I’m a computer technician. I’m not certified but did get an AS in hardware support and an AS web development. I get handed PCs to fix all the time from my friends, friend’s bosses, family members, etc.

Recently I fixed a computer for my friend’s boss that was so infected with viruses I had to reinstall windows. First, I had to save some of his pictures, which took forever because the PC was so bogged down.

So basically I just did some minimal data backup, reinstalled windows, and installed a new internet security suite. What would you charge for this?

Since Sarah Palin and her e-mail is fair game to liberals, why don’t we try the same with Barak?

Let’s have the Heritage Foundation post the personal e-mail addresses, phone numbers and locations of Barak’s family members, and let’s start publishing all of his e-mails.

The liberals who did this to Palin as accomplices to the real hacker had absolutely no concept of privacy rights or the safety of Palin’s children. Why should we have any respect for Obama’s?

Hi, I’m 30, a Teacher, and I live a good, clean life.
However, I have certain family members who ask VERY Personal Questions to me and that makes me feel uncomfortable. Example, they will ask "how much money are you making", "does your best friend have AIDS?", etc?
I think asking questions like that is wrong–but they will keep asking me over and over. When I do answer them–they will immediatley tell other people.

I believe that I have a right to privacy—but my family members feel that we are "all family", and that I am "seceretive".Its because they are a bunch of gossiping blabbermouths that I dont tell them everything..How can I avoild Lying to them when they start asking personal questions–while being honest??!

Plus, what are you feelings about people in your family who ask personal questions ?? Is that good etiquette?

I'm concerned about other people logging on to my computer (friends, family members, etc.) who may come across my web surfing history. I tend to always clear my history to prevent this but I was wondering if there was something more effective and quicker out there that may help me maintain my privacy. Also, can someone actually obtain my IP address if I have a firewall? What's a good firewall?
