Mc Afee has detected an infected file that cannot be repaired.

Later on, Mcafee security center recommends to quarantine the virus, but the computer can not do that and I don’t know what to do.
My question is if there any way to retreive my computer data, as I have some important project done in my laptop.
please , help me .
