the orthodontist i have been going to, has recently shut down. the practice was open for like 20 years. they called a few days ago leaving a message saying due to a "family emegency" the office would be closed for the next week. then in the mail we recieved all our records, and a letter saying due to financial struggles the practice was shut down. he didnt set us up with any other orthodontist, they literatly said your on your own. most ppl have already paid for the full treatment, and hes not giving refunds. we were given NO notice what so ever. there will probably be many law suits coming up. so is this legal to just strand paitents with out any notice, and take their money with out finishing treatment, it has to be malpractice?!
