Security at a public computer at a Time Share?

I will be going up to Northern MI to a time share this summer and need acess to a computer to read email, download data to my Garmin GPS…. etc…. The time share has a PC in the lobby area that I can use. Would it be a big problem if I used it for personal use using passwords user ID’s and so on ?

What can I do to safeguard myself?
