Who else feels the country is being flushed down the john and freedom used as toilette paper?
Both parties let us down, but how do we stop the loss of personal liberties, privacy, and the right to be left alone by the government…its like the constitution doesn’t mean anything to those in power (Congress violates their oaths all the time) and states are subservient to DC?

I feel it, too. If you ask the older generations, they will all tell you that this is NOT the America they grew up in.
The only real way is to get the Dems and Reps out of Washington. They have time and time again proven that they cannot be trusted to do the things they have promised. They constantly violate their oaths by selling out to corporate interests.
The Constitution doesn’t mean anything anymore, because they have chiseled our rights down so much, that the Constitution isn’t worth the paper its written on. This is illegal, and wrong. But, who’s gonna complain, right?
I think part of the problem is we always have the same people in Congress, all the time.
There are only two real solutions: Get EVERYONE out of office and vote in all new people who can reverse and do some damage control, and restore our Constitution to power, or, heed the duty of the People, as stated in the Declaration of Independence, and throw off this government, let the militia (us) take up the fight of Liberty, and install a new Constitutionally compliant government. Some say that kind of thinking is illegal, but that kind of thinking gave us the country we have today, and may be needed to keep it. Honestly. Read it. Can anyone not see that the US has committed at least half of the same grievances that the Continentals had with England?

It started with the patriot act and only got worse with DOMA.

First step is getting Pelosi,Ried,Frank,Conyers,and all their cronies the hell out of power. Vote these fools out!
Only the gloom and doom radical right. Seems their only views these days are negative and hateful.
Because if you remember when you were in high school, the teacher talked about 2 constitutions. The federal Government is working off a different constitution then the original one that was meant for all free people back in 1789. The new one was made in 1861.
